Living on campus offers students the convenience of being close to classes, programs, athletics and events sponsored by the University. Davenport University offers state-of-the-art residence halls and dining facilities to meet and exceed your housing needs. Furthermore, research indicates students living on campus have higher GPAs, retention rates and graduation success.

Freshmen students are required to live in South Hall, a traditional residence hall that features individual living-learning environments for business, health, and technology majors, as well as our popular dining hall. Upperclassmen may live in South Hall or Cook and Meijer Hall. All residence halls are co-ed by suite and each student occupies a private bedroom. You may also choose between different types of rooms (Single, Double, Quad Suites), depending on availability.

Residence Hall Requirements

Freshmen living beyond 45 miles from campus are required to live in the residence halls.  Students who choose to live in the residence halls must be enrolled full-time at Davenport University (minimum 12 credit hours per semester) and abide by the Housing Agreement.  All residents enjoy a meal plan while living on campus.
