Jodi Chycinski
Interim Vice President of Enrollment and Student Affairs
Jodi Chycinski became interim vice president of Enrollment and Student Affairs at Davenport University in July 2026. She leads a team committed to advancing the university's mission of preparing students for successful careers by fostering student engagement, academic growth, and long-term achievement. Working closely with the President’s Council, University Leadership Council, and the Board of Trustees, she provides strategic leadership to drive university-wide growth, optimize retention and elevate graduation rates across all student populations.
Chycinski previously served as Davenport's vice president of admissions and strategic partnerships, joining the university after serving more than 20 years as associate vice president and director of Admissions at a large regional public university. With more than three decades of expertise in higher education leadership, she delivers impactful leadership across admissions and enrollment operations. She played a key role in implementing modern admissions technologies, leading data-informed recruitment strategies, and cultivating strategic partnerships across traditional, adult, transfer, graduate and international student markets.
She holds a bachelor’s in business administration with a major in marketing and minors in management and communication from Davenport College, a Master of Business Administration in general business from the Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University, and a post-master’s certificate in enrollment management from Capella University.
