Michael Sleva 

Interim Chief Financial Officer 

Michael Sleva serves as interim chief financial officer at Davenport University, bringing more than two decades of institutional knowledge and financial leadership to the President’s Council. He joined Davenport as controller and most recently served as vice president of finance and accounting. 

A Certified Public Accountant, Sleva began his career in public accounting and has held controller and vice president of finance positions across a variety of industries, including construction, retail, wholesale and manufacturing. His broad financial and operational experience complements his long-standing commitment to Davenport and its mission. 

Sleva earned a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from Davenport University.
