The Information Security and Assurance Center (ISaAC) Charter has been approved and endorsed by Dr. Gilda Gely, Executive Vice President for Academics and Provost.  Through ISaAC, Davenport University obtained Designation as a Center of Academic Excellence (CAE) in 2011.  CAEs are academic institutions and programs that have undergone an in-depth assessment and have met the rigorous requirements to be designated a Center of Academic Excellence.  The BS Cyber Defense program at Davenport University has undergone this review at Davenport University as the designated Program of Study (PoS). Designation is valid for five academic years, after which the school must successfully reapply in order to retain its CAE designation.  For more information, contact Dr. Lonnie Decker, Department Chair, Networking & Cybersecurity.
